I’ve known this family for a long time now. I did a fun maternity session with them before their second baby was born in May 2008 and then had the honor of being in the delivery room for the birth of Emma. We did a Christmas session that December and then they found out they were having another baby last spring. Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed in the delivery room last December due to the dreaded Swine Flu outbreak. They welcomed their third baby, Colton, just before Christmas and what a little cutie is he! I spent some time with them on Friday with the goal to take all 3 kiddos together and then some individually. Wellllllllll, when you’ve got 3 kids anything can happen and big Sis Emma wasn’t having me or my camera! Can’t wait for her 2 year old session this spring when she can have all of the attention and work the camera. Here’s Colton’s debut…the biggest, dark blue eyes!

We tried to warm Emma up with some snuggles with mom…and then she showed me “This little piggy” with her toes…but she wasn’t having any group shots with her brothers!

They have lots of fun days ahead of them with two boys and a girly girl in the middle! Wyatt is a great big brother and helped us out with the shoot. There will be more fun sessions in the future with this family! Thanks for having me over!

We just had a very busy weekend. Nick had flag football evaluations in 40 mph winds! He had fun with it and I can’t wait for spring sports to start. Let’s just hope it warms up soon because those fields are brutal when it is cold and windy. March begins tomorrow so spring is on it’s way! After football, Nick went to spend time with my parents and got some great individual attention which is so important when you have 3 kids. Jake had a sleepover with his best buddy for his birthday and Brett got one on one time with Matt’s mom while she watched him for us. We went to the annual Smiraglia Family Chili Cookoff and guess what???? Matt’s chili won first prize!!!! The cool thing is that he won the year before last too. And all without a recipe. He just adds a bit of this and a bit of that and there you go…winning chili! I would show photos from the event but I went without a camera. It was pure relaxation for me and boy did I need it. We had no kids, lots of friends and family to hang with and good food and wine. Oh what a night!
