I was so happy to finally meet up with this family after our fall sessions were rescheduled multiple times due to weather issues. We’ve had this date on the books for quite awhile and when it finally came, whoa, was it HOT! Saturday was probably one of the absolute hottest days on record this year and I felt bad for the kiddos who were battling heat, gnats and having to have their picture taken when they’d much rather be running the grounds of Meadowlark where we met up for photos. It truly is a child’s paradise with lots of room to run, lots of turtles to see, cool hidden pathways through the gardens, bridges and HUGE fish to spy in the ponds. They loved the location but the heat was definitely a distraction. We found some shade and got some great images. Thanks “B” family for coming out and putting up with the steamy weather!
